IRELAND has claimed the top spot of European destinations by the respected newspaper USA Today, which has told its readers to consider Ireland for their summer getaway in 2010.

The euro exchange rate has made Dublin cheaper for US travellers, says writer Christine Sarkis, who told readers: “Even if you don’t find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, you may still be able to afford an Ireland vacation this summer.”
